From high upon a hill, a distant sibylline machine sketches out in water the blueprint for the gears which drive the force that is The Channel. You may have heard the sounds before in a lucid dream, or resonating through the paralysis of an oppressed nightmare scream. Heard more and more, both domestically and abroad, The Channel pushes onward, not out of self-serving ambition, but from the inherent drive to do so. Five songwriters, siblings, and friends have forged through the unknown territories of jaded hipsters, socialite sisters, voluntary enlisters, madams and misters; in order to bring some happiness to the broken-hearted, courage to the downtrodden, and honor to the unsung working class. The passion and determination that powers this machine derives from a well which may never go dry.

Tales from the Two Hill Heart / Sibylline Machine
(NEW double album)

"This massive double album from The Channel is an amazing piece of
work. Given time and patience, it can grow into anyone's heart.
Whether your favorite disc is Tales From the Two Hill Heart or
Sibylline Machine, one of them will eventually make you believe in
this vast work. I was taken aback, really. It’s a full and realized
set that gives you nothing more than great music from beginning to
end." - Transform "Fittingly (lovingly), what we end up with are two albums that generously balance one another out - both waltzing that fine line between albums that instantly awe while presenting themselves to near perfection." - Kaleb, SCTAS

Tones are Falling (2003)

$11.00 (postage paid in USA, international shipping is extra)

"These guys manage to blend electro, psychedelia and pure pop so seamlessly, it seems impossible" - Stephen Smith, Lost at Sea

"Proves just how good underground pop gets when everything is done right" - Baby Sue

"It is refreshing to hear such a homogenous mix of old school and new school from a young, promising group" - Dan Miller, Sponic Zine

"Quite Beatlesy and psychedelic, but with a charming feel...this is sumptuous, sunny music, all Pet Sounds harmonies and production but with odd lo-fi sounds wandering in an out" - Mangusta, SounsdXP

"Very, very good, and it keeps growing on me. It's a colorful and festive album." - Håvard Oppøyen - Luna Kafe
